The Prince of Peace
Was bruised
Crushed, battered
chastised, broken
Falsely accused, vilified, spat upon, ridiculed, abused, tortured, tormented, rejected for us
He laid down His life for us, was crucified , dying a cruel death on the cross
The fountain of His blood flowed and flowed until it was empty, dry
But through that atonement He made a way for us to end our night and sigh
He purchased our peace-
Peace with God .
Reconciled those
In the Rebel force.
He broke the chains
of sin and shame;
And took the keys
Of death and Hades
For all who come;
For all who turn
From their night.
Into His Light
Alleluia!
Hello friend, keep your dream alive!
An abundant life, aim to live;
Live a life of significance.
My pal, live a life of substance.
Do you know that you are different?
So refuse to be indifferent.
Leave behind a mark indelible.
With God all things are possible.
Know for sure that God is for you;
So no one can be against you.
Therefore let your dream be so big;
Because your God is very big.
Be wise,seek not His Hand,but His Face,

New Beginning or New Resolution? Your Choice
Friends, we’ve entered a New Year and it is by the grace of God. And we should all be grateful for it. It is because of His goodness and compassion that we are not consumed. Many wished they saw 2009 but they are dead and gone. For those who do not know Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, they are dead and gone to a Christless eternity- forever separated from God, in hell. The torment in hell begins if anyone dies without Christ.
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Heb.9:27 )
Have you given it a serious thought this year or are you thinking of making a New Resolution again this year like you did last year and failed? You see, the word of God says that we inherited faulty genes from Adam. We all have the Adamic nature. You may say, ‘What does that mean?’ For instance, if you put a dent on a baking tray and use it to bake, any cake that is baked thereafter using that tray would have that dent. You might reason: ‘So what? ‘. Well, that is why we ALL are weak when we struggle on our own to be better. We have that dent (a fault or weakness, or sinful nature), handed down by Adam. Only in Christ are we made whole again.
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned (Rom 5:12)
Paul said, the things that I want to do I do not, but the things that I don’t want to do, that I do. And so if I want to do the things I don’t want to do and do not do the things I want to do, there is I war within in me. It is sin that dwells in me that overpowers me. He concluded: ’O wretched man that I am. Who will deliver me from this bondage? The answer was: ‘Christ Jesus our Lord’. (Rom.7:15-25)
Romans 7:15-25 (New King James Version)
15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. (Rom.7:15-25)
Only Christ can deliver us from the sinful nature. By grace are we saved and that through faith – not of works lest any man should boast. All our righteousness is like filthy rags before God
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. . ( Ephe2:8-9)
But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. (Isa 66:4)
God has spared your life till 2009 for a purpose.
Forget the New Year resolutions and come for a new beginning .Forget about turning a new leaf, come for a brand new life in Christ The word of God says:
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matt. 11:28-30
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.2 Cor5:17
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: John1:12
God loves and cares for you and has sent me to you at the beginning of this year
Religion or good works will not save you only Jesus can save. Listen to what He said to Nicodemus, a religious ruler:
3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John3:3
While it is said, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. Ps95:8, Heb3:.8,15, -:4:7
It’s time for a New Life, not a New Resolution. Choose New life and Live! |

The Prince of Peace
Was wronged
Not for His wrong
But for our wrongs,
He who knew no sin was made sin that the sinful may go free
He Lord of Glory suffered; was crucified by those He made; on the tree
He made. On the day foreordained before the foundation of the world
He bought and brought salvation, shedding of His blood for the world;
So today if you hear His Voice;
if You hear His knock
On the door of your heart
Open the door.
For a fresh start.
Great good is in store;
For those who come;
For those who call.
If you hear His voice,
Make Him your choice.
Make the right choice.
It’s time to rise and shine,
Because your light has come.
Let them know that you are Mine;
And in you My Kingdom has come.
Let Me pour Myself into you;
And make your heart My throne.
To you I will always be true,
Because you are one with My Son.
Hide not your light; shine for Me.
Go the extra mile. I give you My grace.
An oak of righteousness always be.
To stand out from the crowd seek My face.
Shine! Dispel the night with your light.
Shine! Let My Word work in and through you.
Shine! Not by your power, nor by your might.
Shine! You’re Mine and fine; shine your light.
Let There be light! And there is light!!

Come to the City of Felicity.
Come to the City of Eternity.
Come, rekindle your destiny.
Live a life of infinity.
Come, see the land-
The Promised Land,
The land of milk and honey;
The Land that’s your inheritance.
See the City of Peace with God,
Where the river is the peace of God.
Embrace the Throne of Grace,
And start your race of Grace.
Lay your heavy load
at the foot of the crossroad.
Cross over to the other side.
In His presence, hide and abide.
Come, decide, in Him reside,
and you'll rise , no matter what betide
Come, leave behind the curse.
Trust God, it shall be no loss
Let the Old things pass away
So that He can usher in a New day.
The heart of stone will be traded off
for the heart of flesh and divine stuff.
You will start a new life afresh.
Rising out of the sin-mesh
What more, you need no money.
For the God-sent, blood -bought honey.
Light will shine into your heart.
As you embark on this fresh start
From the dead, you will be raised.
God will so work in you, you'll be amazed.
The gulf between you and Him, He will close
As You enter the city and join the ranks of those
Whose names are written in the Book of Life.
Come to the City of Felicity for abundant life!
Never mind the wicked band.
Be bold, take your stand.
Obey, this day His command.
The Kingdom of God is at hand.
Do you understand?

Be adamant.

Don’t say, “I can’t!”
Say, “I can according to His plan”
shun the nay sayers.
Shun the soothsayers.
Hold on to the word that you have heard-
The dynamic Word,
Sharper than any two-edged sword.
Create with the Word.
Shape with the Word.
Bulldoze with the Word.
Open with the Word.
Close with the Word.
Subdue with the Word.
Occupy with the Word.
Climb with the Word.
Breakthrough with the Word
Rise with the Word.
Conquer with the Word.
Know, sow, sing songs of the Word.

Put Fear at Bay
Put fear at bay
Throw it away.
Trust God instead
To take you ahead.
Your Father cares.
He’s always there.
He’s working unseen;
So on Him lean.
Your Day is coming.
You’ll be singing.
So cast the burden
On the God of Heaven.
28 “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both soul and body in hell.[29 What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. 30 And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows. (Matt1028-31)
Perspective is Pertinent to Progress
‘Come up a high Mountain’
He told His disciples.
Why? You may want to know.
For godly perspective
To live boldly on the earth.
Up there ‘BIG’ becomes small
Boulders become pebbles;
Mountains become mole hills;
Rivers become puddles;
Giants become dwarfs.
So see trough God’s eyes,
Your future as bright as the stars;
Your problems, passage to glory;
Your barriers, bastions of beauty;
Your pains, portals of gain.
Perspective is pertinent to progress.
Mountains, no matter how big
Can be moved by faith.
Valleys, no matter how deep
Can be raised through God.
Now go down and live bold!
Nothing shall be impossible!
1After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
4Peter said to Jesus, "Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah."
5While he was still speaking, a bright cloud enveloped them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!" 20He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."

Gold from Dross
Gold can come from dross,
If you can take the pain.
The end will be no loss,
If you can stand the rain.
Know Your Saviour lives,
And He does care for you.
His comfort He now gives;
Embrace it; just for you.
In His hand’s your life;
No need to be afraid.
In His life you have life;
No need to be dismayed.
Many people are wary of even reading the book of Job, especially when they think of the calamities that visited him. But God brings beauty out of beatings, gold from dross, great consolation from tribulation, as we can see from the gems of scriptures that came from the 'dross in Job'.
If you are going through trials right now, may I counsel you to meditate on these scriptures and let God bring gold out of your dross. Don't waste your sorrows. They are pregnant with goodies, opportunities for the Lord's name to be glorified. God wants to brag with you
10 But He knows the way that I take;
When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold. Job 23:10
12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips;
I have treasured the words of His mouth
More than my necessary food. Job23:12
14 If a man dies, shall he live again?
All the days of my hard service I will wait,
Till my change comes.

15Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him

16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations.
Job 42:12-16
7 Though your beginning was small,
Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.Job8:7
17 “ Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.
18 For He bruises, but He binds up;
He wounds, but His hands make whole.

Yes, in seven no evil shall touch you.

And in war from the power of the sword.
21 You shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue,
And you shall not be afraid of destruction when it comes.
22 You shall laugh at destruction and famine,
And you shall not be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
23 For you shall have a covenant with the stones of the field,
And the beasts of the field shall be at peace with you.
24 You shall know that your tent is in peace;
You shall visit your dwelling and find nothing amiss.
25 You shall also know that your descendants shall be many,
And your offspring like the grass of the earth.
26 You shall come to the grave at a full age,
As a sheaf of grain ripens in its season.
Job 5:17-26
So stand to see your Salvation. Your Redeemer lives!. He gives songs in the night and will give you a song in your night. Your latter end shall be better than your beginning if you look to Him. Your change will come. Wait on Him. You will laugh at destruction and famine. If you obey Him and serve Him, You will live your days in prosperity. You will see the goodness of the Lord in your life-time. He knows the way that you take and when He has tested you, your dross shall be turned into gold.

Our God is an awesome God.
He is a marvellous God above all gods.
He speaks and it is done.
He is the Pre-eminent One.
He commands and it comes into being.
He is ever -living and ever loving.
He makes the impossible possible.
He is exceedingly abundantly able.
He is a Friend Who rises to defend.
He is there to the end and never pretends.
He is a Friend on Whom you can depend.
He faithful to the end.
He is good all the time.
He never fails.
His Word always assails.
Those who trust in Him will prevail.
Let all creation praise Him-
He created all things for His glory
Sun and moon, creeping things,
All the teeming sea creatures,
Creeping things, cattle, sheep,
Wild animals, flying birds,
All Hail, now .. Kings, Queens, Presidents,
Prime Ministers, angels , saints,
young and old , paupers and tycoons,
praise the name of the Living God.

Dare ! Let Determination Drive You..
Dare! Let determination drive you
To your destiny- your divine possession .
Stand strong, sing the song :”I will not quit”
I know whom I believe- the God of all nations.
He’ll lift me out of every diabolical pit.”
Like the Canaanite woman, refuse to take ‘No.'
Trust, go past all the hurdles and walls.
Be not ignorant of the devices of your foe.
Know that the righteous rises even when he falls.
Go past the waves, winds, fires and storms.
Hold on to the Spirit’s sword -the Word.
Go past every tradition and religious form.
Grab ahold of the truth, God’s powerful Word.
Break every precedent, leave an indelible legacy.
Take even crumbs, if need be and you’ll see
The power in the crumbs is the same power in the bread.
Your faith, small as it may be will produce an oak in its stead.

The God of Abraham!
The God of gods.
The Great, the Glorious and Good God.
The Gracious, Precious and the Victorious.
The El shaddai and Addonai.
The God of Integrity and Equity.
The Exceedingly Abundantly Able-
Able to turn the tables.
Able to make the impossible possible.

Not to be treated with ignominy.
You have an assignment,
not for confinement.
You have a purpose
Not to be forever postponed.
Do you have a dream?
Make it a life-giving stream.
Let your dream be big.
Be in the topmost league.
Do you have a vision?
Let it catapult you out of confusion.
what you sow into your life today,
Is the harvest you’ll reap tomorrow (make hay)
Your future is as bright
as the promises of God.
So look beyond the cloud to the light.
Hold on to His unfailing Word.
Watch your associations
For they determine your climb and position.
Who you see, determines who you’ll be.
Keep the right company.
You have a destiny.
Don’t treat it with disdain and ignominy.
Be A Bringer
They were bringers
And very radical;
Would not be deterred
By the throng.
They had a friend
Who must be healed.
That was their end;
They would not be stopped.
Jesus was preaching
The room overflowed
No need for time-wasting
They had to find a way.
Up the roof they went;
Whatever it takes they would do.
They made a big dent and rent.
You may call it criminal damage.
They made such a big gap,
Stunning the Landlord and onlookers.
This was standing in the gap;
No time to pretend to love with no action.
Jesus saw their faith
Moved with compassion
Spoke Word of faith
Triggering a miracle.
Be a bringer; in people invest;
Bring them to the Best of the best
See the Big picture and He'll do the rest
He’ll save and heal; the First and the Last .
Jesus Forgives and Heals a Paralytic
1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house. 2 Immediately[a] many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them. 3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. 4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.
5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven you.”
6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts, 7 “Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, “Why do you reason about these things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise, take up your bed and walk’? 10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the paralytic, 11 “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, “We never saw anything like this!” Mark2:1-12
